- Initially, you need to review and agree to the Independent Contractor Agreement and Background Release Verification by clicking the
"agree" button on the website. This allows us to begin the preliminary processing of your application to become a contractor for
Global Compliance Services. You MUST also print, sign, and submit to GCS
Field Research both documents along with the other required information. Once we receive all completed paperwork, the following agreement will define the relationship which will exist between you and
Global Compliance Services Field Research.
- As a contractor for GCS Field Research, you agree to perform assignments as a representative of
Global Compliance Services and may visit our clients’ facilities. By signing up as a
GCS contractor and submitting a completed Independent Contractor Agreement, you agree to abide by the following dress code requirements during assignments for
GCS Field Research. GCS Field Research clients require that representatives present themselves in professional “business” attire when performing assignments. Accordingly,
GCS Field Research requires that you dress appropriately and professionally during all assignments. *
Please refrain from wearing thong sandals, sweatpants, sweatshirts, jogging suits, any type of workout clothing, cut off pants, cut off shirts, shorts, or clothing with rips, tears, stains, holes, or offensive language. You should appear neat and clean at all times and perform assignments dressed as a professional businessperson.
Complaints received from clients regarding inappropriate contractor dress may reflect on future assignments. Repeated complaints may require
GCS Field Research to remove the contractor from the active contractor list.
* Some of our assignments do have specific dress guidelines that vary from the Dress Code Requirements above.
- Once you have reserved an assignment, you MUST NOT allow anyone to perform the assignment as a substitute for you. If you are unable
to complete the assignment, you must contact GCS Field Research immediately so it
may be reassigned. Violations of this policy may result in removal from the active contractor list.
- Since credibility and integrity are synonymous with our services, we ask that you obtain a Felony-Level Criminal Records Check by visiting your local county courthouse (in your current county of residence) and obtaining certified written documentation that
you have no felony-level convictions within the past seven (7) years. This document may be obtained by mail or in person. Please contact the courthouse for specific details. In some areas, you may also contact your county sheriff's office or your local police department to obtain the documentation. All record check documentation must be certified with an official seal or stamp to verify authenticity.
Additionally, by signing the Background Verification Release you authorize Global Compliance Services
to procure a Consumer Report at any time during your contractor relationship with
Global Compliance Services. The Consumer Report may include information regarding your character, general reputation, personal characteristics, mode of living, motor vehicle records check, and/or a criminal record history.
- Please provide a copy of your valid driver's license, proof of automobile liability insurance, and if applicable a copy of your current investigative
license. As these documents expire, you are required to provide Global
Compliance Services with updated copies in order to maintain your active contractor status.
Contractors must also make immediate notification to GCS Field Research of any change in
criminal record status, driving record status, insurance coverage status, and
if applicable, investigative license status.
- Please submit a recent photograph, and print your name and social security
number on the back. The photograph should have been taken within the last six months and should be approximately the size of a passport photo.
Digital photos should be sent as an attachment to veronica.dunlap@globalcompliance.com.
